Timofeyevka is a Latvian (Latgallian) village in Vengerovsky district, almost 500 kilometres from the regional centre of Novosibirsk. Founded around 1895, it was originally a part of Kainsk district in Tomsk Oblast. The village was founded by emigrants from Vitebsk Governorate, mainly from Ludza district.
